I maintained and enhanced Silversmith Brewing Co.’s legacy WordPress website, working within the limitations of WP Bakery to keep the site functional and on-brand. While much of the work involved visual content updates — like homepage beer banners and adjusting section layouts — I also implemented several custom-coded features to extend the site’s capabilities beyond what the page builder could offer.

Highlights include:

• Custom-coded the kitchen menu using clean, accessible HTML/CSS to ensure easy updates and responsive design. View Menu
• Added dynamic beer details using ACF fields on the Beers page, improving both maintainability and consistency across the brand showcase.
• Developed a reusable hero banner template for featured pages, improving layout flexibility beyond what WP Bakery natively supports.
• Injected operating hours programmatically into the footer for quick visibility and easy updates.

Though the site itself is legacy and limited by outdated tooling, I consistently found creative workarounds to improve performance, maintain design quality, and deliver solutions that met both business and user needs.
